The Durian Hooded Jacket is a lightweight, hard faced fleece that balances the warmth, breathability and protection needed in the mountains with the comfort for everyday wear. It’s an ideal layer for everything from ski-touring to winter hill walks and sunny climbing trips.
The Durian uses a 270g/m2 microgrid stretch fleece throughout, a fabric that combines a densely woven outer face with a soft and fast wicking next to skin layer. This means that it offers some windproofing and will shed light snow whilst maintaining the fast drying performance for strenuous climbing or rapid ascents. For many it will bridge the gap between a traditional lightweight fleece and a soft shell jacket.
A simple elastane bound hood gives valuable extra protection from cold wind and there are two zipped hand pockets as well as a further zipped chest pocket for essentials. Thumb loops give added warmth as well as sealing the gap between the sleeve and a glove.
